Willow's mother Rosie isn't like the other mums.
She wears every colour of the rainbow, has midnight feasts, and sends Willow to school covered in paint.
Meanwhile, Willow's dad Rex has a rule for everything, writes endless lists of chores, and would never dream of playing in the dirt.
Since Rex moved out, keeping Rosie's feet on the ground has been Willow's job. But it's a big job for a small person - and, these days, it feels like Rosie is spinning off her axis, no matter what Willow tries. As if, one day, Rosie might disappear for good.
And what would happen to Willow then?
